Budapest by Blimp

השיר Budapest by blimp (בודפשט על ידי צפלין) של תומס דולבי שיר אהבה יפהפה ומלודי משנת 1988 על אישה שאהב ועזב מאחוריו בבודפשט שבאירופה. בשיר הוא מביע את הגעגועים שלו אליה וגם את ההערצה של האמריקאים אל מה שאירופה מסמלת, את הסגנון האלגנטי והרמה הגבוהה והניסיונות של האמריקאים לחקות את האירופאים. בשיר הוא מדבר מצד אחד על האישה האירופאית שמייצגת את הערכים הישנים הקלאסיים ומצד שני על החזרה שלו לאמריקה, לבתי הקפה והקניונים, לאובדן הערכים.
הוא צופה על בודפשט בצפלין ובהמשך השיר נכנס הצד האפל של היבשת: קולות של ילדים יתומים, יללה של זאב, רוחות רפאים מיוסרות מהעבר ועוד, שמראים שהיבשת לא יפה כל כך כמו שהיא נראית מעל פני השטח, שהרבה מהיופי הזה מכיל בתוכו אכזריות לאורך השנים.
